This year I got to spend Thanksgiving in Australia
We have been traveling for Thanksgiving since I was in 7th grade
We spent one year in Roatan, Honduras
The next three years in Fiji
One year in Palau
One year in the Grand Canyon
One with my entire family in Connecticut
and just one in my house.
I am so thankful I got to spend more than four months exploring Australia
I am so thankful that my parents got to spend three weeks over there too.
I am thankful I got to spend a week with them in Coff's Harbour, NSW
I'm thankful that we got to scuba dive the day before Thanksgiving
I'm thankful my dad had a two day birthday because of the time zone changes while we flew home
I'm thankful we made it home safely, after 40 hours of traveling
I'm thankful for every friend I made this semester
and all the friends that became family.
I'm thankful that my adventures went to a whole new level
I'm thankful I learned a little bit of Latin & how to swing dance (a little)
I'm thankful that so many of my friends studied abroad too and had this incredible experience
I'm thankful I was blessed with the most lovely roommates
I'm thankful that I have a phone interview this week for next summer's dream job
I'm thankful I get to go see all my sisters and friends in Tampa in two days
I'm thankful that my grandparents are doing well & I got to see them today
I'm thankful my brother got engaged yesterday & is so happy
I'm thankful tomorrow is December 1st and we'll be decorating for Christmas
I'm thankful the airport was filled with Christmas trees and Christmas music
I'm thankful I didn't forget how to drive on the right side of the road
I'm thankful for the love and people who are in my life
I'm thankful for my family, friends & sisters
I'm thankful for my home and my backyard
I'm thankful for green juice- because I really love juice
I'm thankful for the opportunity to grow in my faith everyday
and the opportunity to become the best version of myself
I am thankful to God for all of these things every day of my life,
but especially on Thanksgiving this year!
